As sponsors and participants at the Fastmarkets India Battery and Critical Materials Conference, TACC had the opportunity to actively engage in multiple panel discussions shaping the future of India’s battery materials ecosystem. Representing TACC, Mr. Ankur Khaitan, MD & CEO, shared his perspective on “Building a Secure Domestic Supply Chain and Technology Supply Opportunities.”

He highlighted how the ecosystem is now converging around realistic demand from domestic lithium-ion cell manufacturers, alongside growing indigenous capability to supply battery components and active materials at scale. This alignment of demand and capability marks a meaningful inflection point for the domestic industry

Mr. Khaitan also emphasised the need for stronger government focus on synthetic graphite as a critical mineral, given its strategic importance for energy storage and long-term supply security
